Free Relevance Audit
Sometimes when we are in a business it's hard to get an accurate picture of what our customers experience. We get too close to our own product or service and that can limit our perspective. For example you may be proud of the fact that you've been in business for 20 years and certainly it's a benefit to be mentioned but it shouldn't be the sole focus of your marketing message. Prospective customers use that sort of information as validation of a choice that is made elsewhere. In other words you might think it's the reason people purchase from you but the reason is that you are cheaper or faster or they like the sales person and the fact that you've been around a while just validates their choice.
The Relevance Audit - is exactly what it says it is - I will audit your marketing material and/or website to see how relevant it is or is likely to be to your target market? Does your marketing message solve a problem that the customer has? Will it make their life easier? Does it meet their needs? I stand in the shoes of your customer and give you objective feedback on what works and what doesn't. What you do with that feedback is up to you... You could employ me to improve your copy where appropriate or you could choose to disagree with my opinion and continue getting the results you're currently getting. There is no fee for the Relevance Audit.
All you have to do is send me your marketing material. Whether that is your company brochure, direct mail letter, newsletter, or link to your website…
In addition I need to know:
What you do? What makes you different from your competitors? How are your top three competitors?How is the material being assessed used? What response is it generating? Who is your target market? Also provide me with a contact email so I can ask any other questions that would help me assess the relevance of your material.
And for the cynics reading (I know, it’s a curse!) I will not add you to some database so I can spam you to until the second coming of Christ!
